This idyllic B&B is perfectly situated in the heart of Betws y Coed, just off the main street and close to local shops and eateries.Arrived slightly early but was allowed to check in. The young girl who welcomed me, was pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and had everything that I could ask for.Breakfast was of a high standard and tasted great.All in all I had a lovely few days here and would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone considering staying here.

Our stay exceeded our expectations; the room and en-suite was stunning, the house was beautiful in a great central location just behind the church, and the breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay (Mum travelling with a 10 and 6 year old). Comfy beds, great facilities and delicious breakfast! The location is central but incredibly quiet as tucked away down a back road. We'd stay again!

We stayed here for a weekend with our 5 year old son, from checking in to checking out we couldn't of asked for more from Hazel. The room was a fab size for the 3 of us. The shower was great, breakfast was delicious and hot. And the hosts are super friendly. It's in a perfect spot and we had an amazing time.. Thanks guys.. we Will defo be returning xx

Ideal base which was quiet as slightly off the main road, but still within easy access of the local facilities.We had room 5 which was large, extreme comfortable and fully equipped.Breakfast had many options to suit all appetites.Highly recommend and hope to return.

Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and modern. We had room 4 and it was lovely. Bed was comfortable, plenty of sockets, various drinks available on a snack table. The bathroom was spacious, clean and shower was perfect. The water stayed at the temperature chosen. So many showers in establishments don't. Breakfast was tasty, well cooked and presented. It arrived hot as you choose your times to eat and choose in advance what you would like. Cereals, yogurt, juice etc are also available. We have had a lovely stay and will return. The owner is lovely and her young daughter very helpful. Recommend.

Coed-y-Fron is one of those special places you’ll never forget. The guest house itself is luxurious with its stately stone exterior, nice yard , easy parking, large rooms and bathrooms, and very comfortable bed. The food and service are wonderful. Betws-y-Coed is beautiful and hiking/walking paths are all around

Our family had a fantastic stay, Coed-Y-Fron, everything about the place is first class, the welcome, the accommodation, the breakfast and the area of Betws-y-Coed which is truly stunning. We had a lovely time and would reccomend this wonderful first class establishment to anyone looking to stay in the area.

A beautiful guest house set in the stunning Betws-y-Coed. Everything we needed was provided to a high standard. The room was presented to a high standard and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of choices. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. A great location to make the most of what this lovely village had to offer.

Had a fantastic stay here as a group of 3 travelling with motorbikes. The staff are extremely accommodating and allowed us use of the garage for secure bike storage.Rooms was all nice and clean and breakfast was delicious.Excellent location too with all of the amenities in the town just a minutes walk away.

Lovely B & B in the attractive town of Betwys-y-Coed.The room we had was small but had all the facilities you would expect from a UK hotel, with the additional bonus of fresh milk available for tea and coffee, as well as the ubiquitous UHT.Comfortable bed and a good breakfast efficiently served.Great location, close to all amenities but in a quiet street.

My husband and I enjoyed a three day stay at Coed y Fron. We had a lovely welcome from Amelia. This guest house was so comfortable and the service was excellent. Our room was warm and very comfortable with all the expectations of a welcome tray and a clean serviceable bathroom. Thank you.

Well, we can really recommend the Coed-y-Fron guesthouse in Betws-y-Coed after a two night stay there this week. Everything very clean, cosy and comfortable, not 'tired' at all, room services very good - plenty of tea, coffee etc. & the salmon & scrambled eggs breakfast was so good, we both had the same next morning too! Lady owner very attentive and an excellent cook. Looking forward to a revisit in the future.

Location: central in village, with plenty of parking. Easily walkable to restaurants and shops.Room: quiet and comfortable with very good en-suite - excellent shower. We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely room and great location. The breakfast choices were very good and all tasted great. We had a packed lunch one day and had forgotten to write our sandwich choice. An alternative was quickly found. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

This is a very, very nice B&B. Hazel was super friendly and courteous, the room was quiet, very clean, beautifully decorated, and makes you feel welcomed. I had a 2 night stay with my son over the Easter Weekend. We booked the large double size room and it worked perfect for our needs.Brilliant location, just off the main road, with many parking spaces just outside the property. There was also a parking at the rear.Nice trail, on the doorstep, to a picturesque lake.Short walk from shops, bakery, restaurants.

This guest house is completely faultless. Perfectly quiet, central location, within walking distance to everything you need. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive. Even making packed lunches for long walks! Fantastic breakfast, and even safe off road parking. The room was perfect, the most comfortable bed, and great shower. Can’t praise the stay here enough.

Nothing to fault. The bed was soooo comfortable. I need to know where the mattress and pillows are from! Lovely room and bathroom with welcoming touches of tea, coffee and biscuits and water and squash. DVDs on offer and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

This was our fourth visit. As always the accommodation did not disappoint. Our room at the front of the B&B overlooked the local church and the bathroom had been upgraded since we last stayed in this room. Coed y Fron is perfectly located - not far from the local shops, pubs and pizza house. We stayed as it was Marathon Eryri weekend, its a great place to stay and the breakfast never disappoints. We will be back.

A great stay at Coed y Fron. Location was perfect, just a short walk into the village centre. We had a warm welcome, lots of lovely touches in the room Inc. fresh squash and water, toiletries and tea/coffee facilities, and breakfast was delicious with a great choice. A perfect example of how to make someone welcome.The position of the hotel is lovely, far enough away from the main road but so close to the main restaurants and bars that you couldn’t wish for better.The room was a great size, well designed and very very clean and comfortableOur host was just lovely and breakfast was delicious and I hope you believe me when I say we had breakfast at 0830 and I was still feeling full at 1800.Thank you for hosting us and we hope we will be able to return soon.

We spent four nights here and found it exceptionally comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with thoughtful amenities. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choices. The hostess was friendly and helpful and very tolerant when we kept locking the key to our room inside the room. We would happily stay here again.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt inclined to in this instance. The location is fantastic, tucked away enough that it feels private but a 100m walk and you’re in town with plenty to do. The hosts were brilliant and we loved that it was a family run business with the young daughter helping out too! The room was perfect and standards were high. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of good options from cooked to light and the packed lunches are a nice touch if you’re off exploring and don’t have time to stop / pick something up. All in all this was a great place to stay and I thought the value for 3 nights was superb. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back!

Stayed 2 nights. Was given a free room upgrade which was very much appreciated. Everything was excellent including location, room, food. Lovely hot shower & comfortable mattress. Breakfast was lovely but would just say that the breakfast form format is not ideal if neither of you are having the cooked breakfast.All in all a thoroughly great few days & would definitely recommend Coed-Y-Fron

The room was very well appointed and very clean and welcoming. I have only 2 criticisms. The pillows were too hard in contrast to the comfortable bed. In the car park had the parking spaces been marked it would have accommodated upto 5 cars. As it was some guests parked so carelessly that it was a squeeze for 2 cars and one motorcycle!Y

Extremely relaxed atmosphere. Very spacious family room and immaculately clean. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of choice. The attention to detail was lovely everything had been considered such as squash and water in the room as well as the usual tea and coffee facilities with biscuits. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were high quality. You even had the option to watch a wide variety of DVD's and use the board games available which came in handy with the two younger children. I would highly recommend staying here.

The room and breakfast were everything advertised.The room, and house interior, appeared to have been recently redecorated with all the latest fixtures.The breakfast was one on the best breakfasts that we have had on the trip.The only small thing that could have helped is for there to be a sign stating that ample parking is available inside the black gate in back.If you are wondering, you too will enjoy your stay.

Great guest house in a beautiful location. Just a short walk down a hill to shops, restaurants, coffee shops. Rooms were lovely-warm, comfortable and clean.Great choice for breakfast, plenty on offer. We didn’t need any lunch on either day.A great idea was that packed lunches were on offer should you require them. The hosts were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. A very relaxing mini break and we would 100% return.

What’s not to like. The location is perfect, the room is a good size, spotlessly clean with really comfy beds. I took my 10 year old with me for some mountain adventures so we had the twin room. The breakfast choice is spot on and just what’s needed for a days up hill plodding!I’ve stayed before and will definitely stay again.

Wonderful location, right in the centre of Betws y Coed with a warm welcome. We stayed 5 nights at this lovely little guest house. Everything was top notch from cooked breakfast to daily room service. Room was comfortable with a nice view. Its situated at heart of the town so everything was accessible which is a big plus. Will definitely stay here again.

We booked Coed-Y-Fron for 3 nights for our honeymoon, everything was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts Steve and Hazel. The room was lovely and comfortable and the food was excellent. The location was great, with really easy access to all the local amenities.We would definitely recommend this guest house and will definitely stay again if we come to the area again.

Very lovely small town which features some beautiful hiking trails and is relatively close to the Northern Coast of Wales with plenty of castles and scenery.The river walk was amazing. The accommodations were very comfortable and the breakfast wasdelicious and served in a very nice dining area on the main floor.Hostess Hazel was very accommodating.A great. place to stay.

Its a beautiful guest house in a central location with shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. Hazel and Amelia are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The rooms offered everything that you could possibly need and the breakfast was everything you could possibly want. There is also free parking which is great.

Fantastic B&B in the perfect location. Parking was good, breakfast was amazing (they even did a takeout breakfast which was handy). The owner was friendly and very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Only downside was the small bed but I believe that was because we chose the cheapest room so I’m certainly not complaining! The rest of the room more than made up for it.

We loved Coed-y-Fron! This fabulous, home from home, great value, family-run B&B was everything we could have hoped for: central, quiet, with convenient parking, great breakfasts with plenty of choice, clean, warm, comfy and meticulously run with a generous, ‘nothing is too much trouble’ approach that made us feel welcome and special from the outset.The guest house is located in the heart of the Gwydyr Fforest so we were able to enjoy beautiful walks both locally, ‘right on your your doorstep’ and further a field, in the surrounding upland/lowland areas and with Zip World Fforest, Ty Mawr - historic home of Bishop William Morgan who translated the Bible into Welsh and quite literally preserved the Welsh language for future generations, Capel Garmon neolithic burial chamber, old mines to explore (above ground) and the famous Spar bakery right on your doorstep what’s not to like?Thank you for making our holiday in Betws-y-Coed perfect.CheersJonathan & Paula

Excellent accommodation, looks like it as been recently modernised from top to bottom! Owner as pulled out all the stops, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Lots of little extras are provided, mini fridge in reception for fresh milk and a small capsule coffee machine. Take advantage of the packed lunch, at £6 it is a real bargain! Choice of sandwiches, walkers crisps, fresh strawberries, mini pork pie and a bottle of water. Central location, gated off street parking and lovely out side seated area. Goes with out saying, the breakfast and service is spot on as well! Would not consider stopping any were else in Betws-y- Coed!

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Betws-y-Coed, minutes from the shops/pubs/places to eat. Great view of the church and hills, very pretty in the autumn colours. Very large comfy bed, big room, excellent shower, nice touches such as a coffee machine and water/cordial. Breakfast excellent too, lots of choice. Very friendly owner. Definitely recommend.

We left this lovely guest house yesterday after staying for 2 nights. We stayed in room 4, and it was as lovely as I expected, with a great bathroom, and all spotlessly clean. The whole guest house oozes good quality and Hazel is a really lovely host, nice and friendly, and makes you feel at home. The guest house is in an amazing location, central to the cute little village of Betws-y-coed, and I recommend the fish and chips from Nemos, yum! If breakfast is important to you, like it is to us, then Coed-y-Fron is for you, as it's about the best breckie we have enjoyed in a guest house, with good quality food and plenty of it, lots of choice and little touches. All in all this guest house is a fantastic little find and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We knew that Betws-y-Coed could get busy and so we were delighted to discover that Coed-Y-Fron is location off the main road, elevated behind the church in a quiet location with beautiful views. We were fortunate that a male voice choir was singing in the church when we arrived which added to our experience. There is also car parking on site, which is another bonus.Hazel is a lovely, welcoming host and she provides fresh milk in a little bottle at reception for those of us who hate UHT cartons of milk in out tea! There were similar nice touches at breakfast; butter in a little dish rather than an individual pack, jam and marmalade in little pots, juice in an individual bottle. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it.Our room, whilst not particularly large, was bright and airy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower.There was a drawer unit with a small space to hang shirts but I had to hand dresses on the back of the door.Additionally, there is a lovely patio area outside with garden furniture where we spent a couple of hours reading and enjoying the sun one afternoon.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coed-Y-Fron and would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was really nice, you order the night before and choose the cereal, juice, etc. that you want and it was ready when you went down for breakfast. The full breakfast was really great too.The room was tidy and spacious with a very clean and modern bathroom. Amenities were good and plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, you could go and get fresh milk from downstairs too. There's a huge DVD and games collection for people to use too (including the Harry Potter films which is always a bonus!).We'd definitely stay here again.

Although stayed in Betws-Y-Coed before this was our first stay at Coed-Y-Fron. Everything was great, good selection for breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds and excellent water pressure with lots of hot water. Having a place to store bikes and a drying room (we didn't need as weekend was dry) but knowing it was there is a bonus. Our group totalled 9 of young and older adults. We don't have mobility issues so if you do, worth mentioning before booking. Suggest speaking directly to Hazel at the B&B.

We have been visiting Betsy-y-coed for many years but this time we found the perfect accommodation. Perfectly located, quietwith great views of the valleys. Room was beautiful with modern bathroom. The hoists were amazing with little touches like fresh milk in fridge to collect during the day. Breakfast was amazing and well organised by room time table. This is now our bed and breakfast for many more visits over the next few years.

My partner & myself had a wonderful weekend, our stay at Coed-y-fron was faultlessOur room was beautiful, bathroom fantastic and the valley views from our window were stunningI always have a bad back when I stay overnight away from home but our bed was perfect and so comfortable, great nights sleep with no bad back, breakfast was delicious the best I've had, also we had 2 packed lunches which were fantastic, the cheese & pickle roll I highly recommend,also I loved the bottles of cordial and water in the room, never had them before in a hotel great idea loved them, even sent my friend a picture of them, perfect location better than I could have imagined & hoped for,Loved everything about our stay and we will definitely be returning.

Hazell and Steve make you feel immediately welcome, backed up by super service and immaculate rooms. The premises is only a couple of minutes walk to the pubs and restaurants. And with so many great walks on your doorstep you don't really need to drive anywhere to do a hike! Will definitely be coming back to Coed-Y-Fron!

A real gem in the heart of Betws-y-coed. Set just off the main road allows you to escape from the busy centre and the hosts were so welcoming, attentive and friendly throughout. Breakfast was awesome. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend this guest house, our room was lovely and the whole house was modern and spotlessly clean, it is exactly the same as the pictures.Amazing breakfast, so much to choose from and everything is done very safely either pick a time slit to eat in the dining room or have it anytime in your room or outside weather permitting.Hazel can not do enough for you. We had a truly wonderful stay at Coed-Y-Fron. I booked this place purely based on the amazing reviews, so we had very high expectations! These were met + exceeded. Lovely room (room 1), with great views out the front + comfy bed + wonderful bathroom - the shower was incredible! All very clean and well looked after. Beautiful b&b room 5 is stunning. Such a comfy super king bed was a treat. The bathroom was spotless and well equipped great mirror! Only one thing I missed was a mirror I could use to dry/style my hair electrical appliance (hairdryer, straighteners, tongs etc) won’t reach to the bathroom so a mirror even a small portable/full lengthfreestanding one in the room would be great. Good options for the morning are extensive a real treat.

This beautiful house is a home from home and exactly as all the reviews have stated. We stayed in the large family room as this was the only room available. We had absolutely everything we needed including a coffee machine, slippers and dressing gowns. Hazel had put the lighter duvet on due to the warmer weather and there was even a fan in the room.It was newly decorated and immaculate throughout. The breakfast was excellent!Hazel was a wonderful host and we felt very safe with all the covid restrictions in place.We will come back as the location is beautiful.

My husband and I only spent one night at this hotel, but it was lovely. The hotel is perfectly situated, has car parking for a few cars, is very clean and has the option to sit outside if the weather is good. Our room was lovely - the bed was extremely comfortable, the water power was strong and the windows opened to give fresh air.Breakfast was perfect, I requested a couple of items to be well cooked and they were done to perfection. Absolutely lovely accommodation right in the centre of Betws-y-coed. Lovely host and had everything we needed. Just what we needed after a day up the mountains. Breakfast was delicious. 10/10 couldn't fault it, would definitely stay there again.

The owners had ensured our stay was with Covid safety in mind. The property is ideally located just off the main road, overlooking the church, just a few minutes walk to all the amenities. Off road parking was an addef bonus. The room was very comfortable with a contemporary shower. Breakfast was excellent.

I staying here for 3 nights. I was a little worried about staying away after the pandemic but the owners made every effort to make it as safe as possible with staggered breakfast times and replenish forms to save people needing to come into the room. Very well placed to access the town and easy to get to all snowdon hills. I would definitely stay again

This place is fab! The room was beautiful with a great view of the clock tower & village, spotlessly clean & everything you could need provided. With the restrictions currently in place we still can’t eat in the dining room but Hazel & Steve have the art of delivering a really tasty beautifully cooked breakfast to your door piping hot still.The B&B is perfectly placed to explore the area & just a few steps into the heart of Betws-y-coed.We had a lovely stay & would highly recommend & return happily. Information on booking in and arrival procedures as well as Covid-19 protocols was clear and provided well in advance.The property is set in a stunning location and having booked a room on the second floor, we were rewarded with a stunning view over the village and surrounding valley.The room was very spacious and immaculately clean and the bathroom was modern, spacious and clean also. There was a lovely variety of drinks sachets and biscuits provided on the tea tray, very thoughtful touch.The bed was really comfortable and the shower the following morning was great. Breakfast was provided in our rooms the following morning and check-out was an easy straight-forward process.We chatted briefly with our hosts and they were very friendly and helpful.Two minor issues we had, one being that we did find the room quite cold and even after adjusting the thermostat on the radiator, the room didn't warm up and it was a particularly cold night. The other being that the scrambled egg on the cooked breakfast wasn't very pleasant and we did wonder if it had been made with powdered egg.Neither issues are major and they certainly didn't spoil our stay by any means but we thought you'd like to be informed.We had a lovely stay and if we are visiting the area again, we will definitely come back.Thank you

We welcome areas of improvement, as this helps us to better our service and facilities, but I can promise you that we would never use powdered egg, we use fresh free range eggs always. We realise your eggs could have been cooked a little bit longer, and we will ensure in future to do so. I try to adjust the times and temperature of the heating regularly to fit with the weather, especially as it has been very mixed, with the Easter warm weather and then sudden drop in temperature afterwards, It can get over warm in the guest house at times, so this is always a concern for me.I hope to see you again in the future. We decided to take the opportunity of a brief break in the lockdown to travel only a short distance (1hr) from home for a change of scenery. We've visited B-y-C many times but this was a chance to take a break at a slower pace.The welcome was warm and the room was beautifully positioned with great views out of the double windows.We took a lite picnic to have in the room for dinner as the restaurants were closing at 6. It was thoroughly relaxing sitting eating nibbles, sipping wine and watching the lights of the village as dusk turned to night.The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent.We took breakfast in the dining room as no-one was eating late (9am) so we had the dining room to ourselves. Again beautifully views to go with a wonderful full cooked breakfast (lots of choices available).The stay was just what we needed - a change of scenery and a break from the new normal.

From the booking right through to departure it was an absolute pleasure staying at Coed-Y-Fron.Hazel was a superb host who went out of her way to make my visit as comfortable as possible.The young lady of the house even opened the car park gate for me on arrival.This is the cleanest and tidiest place I've stayed to date. it was quiet, picturesque and warm, and everything worked, including excellent WiFi.It was a real pleasure to visit and I will definitely use it again when next in the area.

We had a lovely two night stay in Coed-y-Fron. Betws-y-Coed is a beautiful village and the B & B is in a central position with easy access to all of the village’s amenities and walks as well as the wider Snowdonia attractions. Thank you to the owners for a warm, welcoming and comfortable stay. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and the made-to-order breakfasts are very tasty. We also made use of the packed lunch service for our trip to hike up Snowdon, which was very much appreciated.

Beautiful apartments with lakeside views. Really peaceful and quiet. Roughly twenty minute walk into Bala. Internet connection for Netflix a bit temperamental but who cares when the views are so lovely!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. We had a short weekend break, and the hosts could not have been more welcoming. Breakfast was served in the room due to lockdown but there was a good choice and very tasty. The bnb is in a lovely quiet area with a nice garden and patio from which we had our breakfast. The room was very clean nicely decorated with modern furniture with a good selection of tea coffee biscuits etc and the fresh milk was a nice touch. The breakfast was of an equally high standard. We highly recommend this place! We made a mistake with the dates for our booking, only discovering it in the last minute. Hazel and her husband were extremely helpful and managed to find a way, which we were ever so grateful for. The rooms are clean and a good size. Location is very central with amazing hill views. Breakfast choice is great and food is delicious. Lots of info available about the area. Cordials in the room are a great addition. Easy parking.

Had a great stay at this guest house, staff were attentive and friendly. Beds comfortable and lovely little touches likehaving dvd selections for the room. Breakfast was good and we both thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely go back.

This B & B provides a great starting point for exploring Betws and the surrounding area. It’s located right behind the Church in the centre of the village with panoramic views across the valley. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable providing all necessities and breakfast was always cooked to order with plenty of choice. I would definitely return here for another stay.

I stayed at the top of the house with a view of the church and across the valley. The bed was very comfortable indeed, the room was clean and modern. I appreciated the teas, squash and hot chocolate. The breakfast was nice too and the lady whose name I don't remember was kind and friendly. It was excellent value for money and I would love to come again.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Hazel and her husband.The house generally and our room were spotless.It was obvious that the property had been recently refurbished and we hope that it is maintained to that high standard since we will be returning.Hazel was very accommodating even down to giving us a menu from the night before so that we could have our bespoke breakfast.The dining room and breakfast table was well laid out.The matching crockery and linen napkin were a nice touch.Over our five day road trip we stayed in four different venues (B&B’s, and hotels) and this was the best.Thank you.

Initially booked into this B&B as couldn’t get into one of the bigger hotels - but so glad I did. Off street parking, cosy room, en suite, clean bathroom,, friendly hosts and full Welsh breakfast.

Just an overnight stay as we love Betws y coed but it's a little too far for a day trip.Coed y fron was welcoming, warm and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, there was ample tea and coffee available in the room along with fresh milk if required.The breakfast the following morning was lovely and there was a large choice. We would definitely book in here again.

I stayed at Coed Y Fron last October over the Snowdon Marathon weeekend so booked again this year. This property is perfectly located just off the main road. A very warm welcome awaits from Hazel and Steve. Rooms are cosy and nicely furnished, this year my room overlooked the woods at the back of the property. There are tea and coffee making facilities in each room and a coffee machine is available for guests to use in the hall as you enter the property. Breakfast was delicious - I chose full english but there is plenty of choice.

What a lovely B&B and to be greeted with a warm welcome.Ideally located with a superb room, catering for all our needs and we hadthe best nights sleep ever, it was so peaceful - we only wished we could have stopped longer but we were busy watching Wales Rally GB.We definitely plan to return for a longer visit and look forward to the Breakfast next time!Thankyou for our takeaway breakfast, it went down well on a wet and windy morning.

Bathroom was nice and spacious given that it had been built into the original bedroom. Bedroom was also spacious and very comfortable.The shower was good but it could scald you if you weren't careful. The breakfast room was also spacious with a view past the Church tower over the forest. The breakfast was good. Wardrobe space is a little limited for two on a longer stay. A house at the back has a dog that is left alone for long periods and it whines and sometimes barks which means the window has to be closed to sleep well. Currently the drying room is out of action which makes drying wet boots difficult. Hostess very friendly and want out of her way to be helpful. The butter dishes on thetable meant no more foil wrapped frozen butter pats! Well done! Only200 yards to good pub food(downhill).

Enjoyed staying at Coed-y-Fron, where we were fed incredibly well and cared for meticulously. Everything about this place is great, and Steve and Hazel, the hosts, are incredibly accommodating.We asked them to put a small bed into the room we stayed in, and they rearranged the entire floor plan to make it work.They prepare inexpensive lunches to go for days when you will be hiking or on the road, and they are delicious. They also did some laundry for us, and did not charge us a penny for that. This is a great place!

Stayed here for two nights. Hazel was very accommodating in letting us check-in earlier and the room (which was upgraded prior to our arrival) was nice, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Good variety of tasty breakfast choices. Conveniently located, off of the main road and next to a footpath for a woodland walk.

My husband and I stayed for one night at this guest house whilst travelling from Cornwall to Newcastle upon Tyne. Truly a wonderful stay - location was spectacular with amazing views from our room. The room itself was very spacious, light and modern with a large ensuite shower room. However, it was the little touches that made this stay so special such as a coffee machine in the room but also a kettle (for anyone not keen on using these machines) and fresh cordial juice for a cold drink. There were bathrobes and slippers in the cupboard which was a pleasant surprise. There is garden to the front of the property with seating area to enjoy the scenery and maybe a glass of wine! The breakfast the following morning was absolutely delicious with fresh fruit or cereal to start followed by a cooked meal with many choices. Highly recommend for a wonderful stay.

we've stayed in lots of places and we don't consider ourselves divas but there are things we always require,primarily it has to be clean(spotless ideally) and welcoming.if its comfortable,has good varied breakfast options and is located centrally to your destination then even better,coed y fron delivers on all those fronts.Steve and hazel are great hosts who genuinely seem to care and more importantly enjoy what they are doing,they go out of thier way to make you feel welcome,the atmosphere is great and the facilities are spot on,we stayed in room 1 which had everything we neeeded including a pod hot drink machine and fresh milk if needed,the place was spotless and the location was excellent.we would have no hesitation in returning and we consider ourselves quite fussy😏.Any negatives?..just one and it has NOTHING to do with the quality of the b and b, but the location of the church means the hourly chimes can be a bit of a pain,depending on whether you like them or not,but as the b and b has double glazing and cooling electric fans available on request ,if you wanted to keep the windows closed you will still get a good nights sleep as the ambient sounds are very quiet esp as the b and b is set back off the main road which in betys makes a Big difference as its quite a busy road in high season.as i say,that's the only minor gripe we have and it's the churches fault not hazel and steves 😊

This hotel is just a minute from the main street, so it is a brilliant location. Betws-y-coed is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. The hosts were great, were very helpful and personable, lovely people to meet and talk with. Parking is available at the back of the hotel at no charge which is great. Beautiful breakfast supplied. The room was quiet and comfortable. Had a great sleep for the two nights were were there. Highly recommended.

Coed Y Fron is a very well kept B&B. The rooms were clean and very well presented. The location is fantastic and very close to the centre of town. Hazel is lovely and very helpful for local tips. All in all a fantastic stay!

We stayed for 3 nights. First impressions were great. The room was lovely;spacious warm, huge comfy bed, spotless bathroom, lovely touches such as fresh milk, coffee pod machine, water and cordials and quality biscuits. The view from our room was to die for as the house is a short way up a hill but right next to the shops. So quiet and peaceful Owners lent us books of local walks. The breakfasts were superb - beautifully cooked and presented. Porridge was the best I have had in any hotel/guest house and so were the eggs. Lovely people. Will definitely book again

All previous reviews are spot on.The owners certainly know how to ensure guests will return. We stayed in bedroom 1 which is very spacious, comfortable and has everything you would find in a 4/5 star hotel. Certain areas have been recently refurbished to a high standard both in quality of workmanship and quality of fixtures. Lovely cooked breakfast with local produce served in dining room with lovely views. All in all a very pleasant stay in a beautiful location. This must go on our suer to return list.

First time visit and highly recommended, great location and quiet even though in a busy tourist area by day! Parking round the back of the property was really useful, and in summer terrace would be lovely place to sit and admire the views across the valley.Interior areas very airy and fresh, felt very at home. Room was spotless with very comfortable bed, quiet and nice amenities (tea/coffee/biscuits/water/cordial), fresh milk and coffee available downstairs. Great breakfast choice and lovely views. Helpful friendly owners who answered all our pre arrival queries and helped us to make the most of our stay. Definitely try this if you are planning on a visit to Betwys.

I can't find any fault with Coed y Fron.Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a really nice bathroom (superb shower). It was spotlessly clean and our bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and perfectly cooked. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back.

A clean bright modern B and B with friendly owners.A fridge provides fresh milk which is a big plus for us as we dislike uht milk. We would not hesitate to return. Quite charming and rates amongst the best we've stayed in.

Our first visit to this hotel, we have stayed in many of the other hotels over a period of 20 years and can honestly say this is so far the best. The little details of fresh milk and a water tray in your rooms tho only a slight thing makes so much difference. Very clean and modern feeling yet still keeps its period features. I wish the owners all the luck and cant say how happy we were to have found it.

We stayed for one night on Tuesday 7 November. We stayed in Room 1 which was a lovely size bright room with a great view over the church. The room was really clean and the large double bed was very comfortable. Next morning we had a delicious breakfast with good quality produce and well cooked. All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Since the last time I stayed at this bnb the ownership has changed. Hazel, Steve and their daughter Amelia provided a warm welcome. They have brightened the house up and made it very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms are serviced daily. Excellent value for money and a good place to stay for the Snowdon Marathon. Great for families or couples.

This b & b is in the heart of Betws-y-coed and we had beautiful views from the dining room, where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and from our bedroom. The clean, fresh decor had been recently updated and our room was clean and attractive. There was a good selection of drinks in our room & we liked the idea of a fridge in the hall way, where we could get fresh milk. The owner was very friendly & gave us ideas for places to visit.

Our experience at Coed-y-fron was 5* from start to finish. The room was immaculate, great value for money. The view from our window was unbelievable. Had a great nights sleep - bed was super comfy! The breakfast was the nicest breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel, the service was impeccable. Planning to stay here again soon. Would recommend 100%.

We had a fantastic stay at Coed-Y-Fron.It was only for one night and we wished we could have stayed longer.The guest house is ideally situated right in the middle of the village but set back from the main road so it was very quiet.Hazel gave us a very warm welcome and explained everything we needed to know.The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep.Our room was immaculate.Breakfast was lovely.As vegans we had let them know in advance and we had a very yummy vegan version of the Welsh breakfast.We will definitely be staying again and will be recommending to anyone who is looking to stay in beautiful Betws-Y-Coed.

In the first instance you are made so welcome by the owners, Hazel and Steve. Nothing is too much trouble. They have only been owners for nine months and have updated much of the property with still some more to do. Breakfast is superb (if you can drag yourself out of bed for breakfast served so darn early 7.15 to 9.15 am). Room No.1 is a lovely room overlooking the village and the church, but alas the church clock chimes on the hour which will disturb some. Thankfully dogs are not accepted. Car parking is not easy but available, but it is only a couple of minutes to walk to the village centre.

I couldn't recommend this establishment higher. Situated in a great location overlooking the lovely St. Mary's Church, this guest house offered much more than expected. The staff were accommodating, personable, and best of all, friendly. The room was immaculate and very nicely decorated, the linen was clean and comfortable, and I honestly don't think I've slept better away from home in my life! Breakfast the next morning was delicious and hearty. I would love the opportunity to stay here again!

Coed-Y-Fron was easy to find, in a quiet but convenient location for the village and its amenities.The caring owners, who had taken over the property in November 2017 are providing a really good service. Our room was well-appointed and decorated.They are in the process of working through the house to upgrade the rooms.We would stay there again. 4 stars only because we were on the top floor!

My friend and I had 5 nightsat this charming B & B in the lovely town of Betwys-y-Coed. Our hosts, the McCourts, were simply delightful people and the property is lovely. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable.

I was travelling alone and booked a "compact double" but there was plenty of space, with a dressing table, chair and some hanging space as well as a shower room. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was a fridge in the landing so I bought myself some fresh milk to make drinks. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of it and a choice of cooked options. It is very welllocated and is on a quiet street, right in the centre of Betws-y-Coed, with plenty of shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

We had a wonderful time! The bedrooms were very clean and tidy, the hosts always very nice and the breakfast was a good surprise! Several options and very organised. The house in is the heart of the city, and I recommend staying here. Parking is limited in the house (3 cars maximum) but there is plenty of space in front of the house to park in a very safe street.

Beautiful place really central location. Fabulous weekend owners were really helpful and provided a 5 star service. Definately will be going back

Booked zip world so decided to make a break of it and stayed 2 nights to be able to see more of the area. Betwsy y Coed is a beautiful place to vidit and has a lovely holiday feel about it.Chose Coed y Fron afyer reading good reviews on TripAdvisor. Was so happy we did. Location was brilliant. Room was lovely with comfy beds. Plenty of hot water with both a bath and shower over it. Good breakfast, car parking which was a must, lovey hosts all for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend for couples and also family room on tbe third floor. If we return to the area there would be no hesitation on staying hete again.

The establishment was ideally located in the centre of the village yet away from the main road making it very quiet. Good parking facilities, the room was comfortable with the usual facilities. It was clean and the breakfast choice was excellent. Our hosts were very friendly and courteous.

Wonderful location and very close to train station and bus so we didn't have to take our car anywhere.Lovely welcoming hosts and lovely clean room.Wi-Fi hasn't got very strong signal but we didn't mind as much as it helped us to communicate more.Close restaurants and bars near.We will definitely come back again.

Having visited Coed Y Fron last year my wife and I chose to visit there again on our short break to Betws Y Coed. The guest house was clean tidy and the rooms warm well kept, the breakfasts were superb. Peter and Eileen are very helpful and a lovely couple. I would recommend others looking for reasonable priced accomodation to look to stay here.

To start with on our journey to betws y coed we had a polite phonecall from eileen telling us that ourcroom was ready if we wanted to check in early which we thought was really nice of them. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we had a lovely double room which had a modern feel and plenty of space, and was cleaned daily with fresh towels if you wanted them. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the porridge was the best ive ever had.Great location too off the main road so pretty quiet. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

We stayed for 4 nights, our room was well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. We both had the full english breakfast which was lovely, you could help yourself to juice and cereal and have as much toast as you wanted. It is run by a very friendly couple who will help you enjoy your stay. Well recommended.

Everything was clean, comfortable and a fabulous building. The only thing ,as 70 + travelers, we found 29 steps a bit of a slog whenever we had to go somewhere. Otherwise every was perfect and the hosts could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

Not always easy to find a room to share and this was perfect and so peaceful, yet right in the centre of the village. Warm welcome, lovely breakfasts, fantastic walks from the door (also via the Sherpa bus if you want to venture further afield) and the use of a fridge was a bonus.Many thanks Eileen and Peter.

As a group of ladies hoping to sumit Snowdon on our stay we booked a family room, we could not of asked for better it was a fabulous room which catered for everything. The beds were so comfy and b+b was in such a quiet spot of the town we slept well. Breakfast was supperb and nothing was to much trouble, our hosts were great and we had a good old natter with them and they gave brill advice as to surrounding area, buses ect. We will defonatly be booking again at Coed-y-Fron, I and my friends had such a good stay we will back in the future with our hubbies. Thank you for making our stay fab, fun and enjoyable.

We were so glad to stay at such a welcoming , established Guest House . Eileen and Peter are outstanding hosts who take time to communicate with their visitors in a warm and friendly manner . Much more of a'personal touch' than many other establishments . This is most welcome , as is their hearty breakfast, freshly cooked and a very fine start to the day .Coed - Y - Fron is very well situated in a peaceful location . Ideal as a touring centre for other places in the magnificence and natural beauty of Snowdonia . In our case , a lovely base for walking, visiting places of historic interest , the exhilaration of Zip World and visiting family members in Anglesey .It is no surprise that this charming place has been awarded such honours by the relevant tourist organizations . We would be delighted to stay here again , hopefully as soon as possible and enjoy such wonderful hospitality . Many thanks and much appreciation to such caring people .

Friendly and met all of our needs. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the church. If stairs are a problem then ask for a 1st gloom unit. Parking is not a problem with both onsite and street easy street parking. Hosts are very friendly

Our three night stay was not really long enough and hope next time to alter this. The stay was most enjoyable with excellent accommodation, hospitality and warm atmosphere and it is with sincere thanks that the three of us were very well pleased and happy with everything.

We had an amazing stay, the owners made us feel very much at home and were very kind. We personally was unsure about staying at a B&B as they feel like someone's home and feel like your intruding but as soon as we arrived this went straight out of the window. The bedroom was clean and comfy. Will definitely be returning.

Great value for a break direct links on bus to mount Snowdon and Llandudno cable chair lifts, the latter via train, meaning the car could stay put, cafes bar resturants in the area for a nice evening, and nice walks to be had, swallow falls near by look great when rain has fallen. Reccommended establishment.

My husband and I used Coed-Y-Fron as a base to climb Snowdon. The room was really comfortable, plenty of space with a large en-suite. The breakfast was more than enough with plenty of choice. Zero complaints about our stay! Eileen and Peter were wonderful hosts, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Coed-y-Fron was exactly as described on the website. The room was spacious, staff were very friendly. The guest house is located central to the village and witin walking distance of most facilities located in a secluded part of the village. Will return.

Title says it all! We had a really enjoyable two-night stay here. Comfy bed, powerful shower, hearty breakfast - all set us up to explore the beautiful Snowdonia region. We were even blessed with fantastic weather and managed to climb Snowdon in full sunshine for a clear view from the summit. Lots to do in Betwys itself. Do the walk up to the lake, the path for which starts beside the B&B. Eileen and Peter who run the B&B were charming hosts and I would recommend Coed-y Fron without hesitation.

Coed-y-Fron is one of the best spot for a nice holiday break in wales. It's not that far from local shops, pubs, restaurant and train station, yet it's far enough to not be disturb by any noise. The owners were very welcoming and pleasant, gave us all the privacy we needed, yet we always helpful whenever we needed something. The rooms were very comfortable and had wifi.

My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay at this delightful guest house. The owners were particularly welcoming and helpful. Being situated in the town centre all facilities were in easy walking or driving reach. Just one observation to consider - we were in room 6 which was a little short of space to place our two suit cases.

It was a pleasant and comfortable 5 nights at the coed y fron. Eileen and Peter are the most gracious hosts and all our requests and queries were well attended to. There was a wifi connectivity issue during our stay but Elieen was constantly sorting it out with the network provider and keeping us updated on the status.Coed y fron is conveniently located within Betw y coed. Shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. St Mary's church is right in front and the walking trail is just behind.

We would like to thank Eileen and her husband for a very welcoming stay in Betws-y-Coed. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia. The room was lovely and breakfast was good. They kindly arranged an early breakfast the day we wanted to start early to go up Snowden. The owners couldn't be more helpful - a nice touch was our surprise easter eggs in our teacups on Easter morning! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to North Wales.

Charming b&b thats in an excellent position overlooking the mainstreet in the town. View from our front room was spectacular. Room was spotless and bed very comfy. Breakfast was excellent and really set us up for our day. The couple that ran the b&b where lovely. They stayed out of your way but let you know that if you needed anything all you had to do was ask.

Coed-y-Fron is a beautiful place to stay. Eileen and Peter made us feel very welcome and helped to make our stay memorable. Breakfasts were delicious. Our room was clean and well maintained with wonderful views from the window.There was a pub a short walk away, a variety of shops.The River Conwy flows through the village and is lovely to walk by.Everything is close by so this is a great place to use as 'home base'.Would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

This is a great B&B in an excellent position.Friendly owners, lovely dining room and choice at breakfast. Room was comfortable, well equiped and quiet, apart from the odd lamb. The nearly finished car park will be a bonus, and apart from the slight "issue" with their credit card machine, this was a very pleasant stay.We would book again.

Had a very nice overnight stay here. Location is great and the house is up a side street away from the main road so it is nice and quiet, the elevated position allows great views too. We stayed in room 1 at the front of the house, a nice large, bright room with super views and a huge comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast too, would definitely stay again.

we have been coming to Betwes for over 30 years. By far this is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. The location is great, the room was clean and comfortable and the cooked breakfast was outstanding. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I strongly recommend it. The hosts at Coed-Y-Fron could not have been more accommodating.The place itself was really lovely, comfortable and finished to a high standard but there were also little extra touches which made the place feel special.Breakfast was delicious and I don't think the hosts could have done more to make us all feel welcome.I would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

They lent us their map book and suggested some particularly beautiful places to see and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure.Generous and delicious cooked breakfast and great muesli included in cereal selection.Our room was very comfortable, clean and fresh. Comfortable beds, bathroom with all you need, quiet and pleasant with helpful owners and good breakfasts with choices and time preferences. There are stairs to climb but if you can do that, you have nice view. This is behind the church and beside a hiking path to a mountain lake.
